The Event Details
The Evening
Doors open at 6:00 pm. Cocktail hour begins. Conversations spark. Old friends reconnect. New partnerships begin.
Dinner is served at 6:30 pm.
But this night is not about a meal. It is about a generation. It is about students in Bryan who are growing up in a world louder than ever, more distracted than ever, and often more alone than we realize. It is about building something sturdy enough to hold them.
We are calling it Refuge. Not just an outreach center or office — not just programming, not just a weekly visit.
Refuge is consistency. Mentorship that shows up again and again. A place where a student can stay after school instead of walking home to an empty house. Refuge is tutoring, discipleship, accountability, laughter, prayer, and stability.
If we do this right, we build a culture — and culture changes trajectories.
Attire
Sunday Best — Cocktail or formal attire encouraged. This is an elevated evening celebrating the mission we are building together.
Keynote Speaker
Andy Lesnefsky
We are honored to welcome Andy Lesnefsky. For more than two decades, Andy has led faith-based initiatives that refuse to shrink back.
As the former President of Vagabond Missions, he helped build outreach that lasts — by forming and empowering missionaries to serve communities like ours, and by establishing refuge in places that struggle to imagine what hope could look like.
Andy does not simply lead organizations. He builds conviction. He cultivates clarity. He calls forth courage in a generation searching for meaning.
His message will challenge us, ground us, and invite us into something far bigger than a dinner — into a movement already taking shape in our city.

What We Are Building In Bryan
In this city, we are expanding. The Lord is calling us into more campuses, to have more mentors, and to form even deeper partnerships with schools and the juvenile justice system.
The requests are coming. The students are ready. The question is whether we will build something strong enough to sustain the growth.
- Mentorship for at-risk youth
- Missionary formation and staffing
- Renovated spaces for consistent outreach
- Expansion into additional schools
- A sustainable foundation for long-term impact
why it matters
Why This Night Matters
This is a complimentary evening — dinner and drinks are our gift to you.
But it is also a moment of invitation. You will have the opportunity to invest in the expansion of Ablaze Youth Outreach in Bryan/College Station, enabling us to meet the growing needs in our community.
- We are not trying to build a program.
- We are building refuge.
- And refuge is something you build together.
