Ministry Background:
From a young age, I’ve felt the call to ministry. While I grew up Catholic, it really all began with my involvement in my parish high school youth group. I was introduced to mission trips, conferences, and even the opportunity to be a youth leader and share my testimony on the parish’s very first Teen Christ Renews His Parish retreat! After that experience, I found over and over again that I was undeniably called to lead youth ministry. In college I had the pleasure of being a SENT Retreat Team leader and a summer Totus Tuus missionary. Following graduation, I followed God into inner-city youth ministry with Vagabond Missions. I served in their Pittsburgh, PA mission for 5 years before joining the efforts of Ablaze Ministries in their Bryan, TX location. I had only planned to be on mission in Pittsburgh for one year, but the Lord was very quick to change my plans! I served as a missionary, a team lead missionary, and as the Pittsburgh Area Director in my time with Vagabond. Youth ministry in the inner city is where my heart has come alive, and I have truly met the Lord face to face. I am so honored by what the Lord has done with my life, and I can’t wait to see what else He has in store!
Passions and Interests:
I have a deep passion for healing ministry, music, theater, and whatever topic I am most curious about on any given day. I also love a good movie or game night! I’m a big believer in having fun. My interests are constantly changing, so there really is a different answer every day!
How did you become involved with Ablaze/why are you involved?
I dreamed with Matt Rice about the love we have for the Catholic Church and her identity as Universal and Missionary…and the rest is history. There is something really beautiful happening in Bryan, TX and I finally stopped ignoring the Lord and answered His call to be a part of it!
