Ministry Background:
My journey in ministry began in high school with the youth group at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. With a heart on fire for the Lord, I was always searching for meaningful ways to serve. Whether it was being part of the core team or leading worship, I loved contributing to my home parish in any way I could.
In college, I became deeply involved with St. Paul’s Outreach at Texas State University, where I led a women’s group, worship services, and several retreats for fellow students. In the summer of 2025, I joined Ablaze as a first-year missionary and am eagerly looking forward to seeing how the Lord works through me in Bryan, Texas.
Some of my favorite aspects of ministry include helping others fall in love with the sacraments, guiding them in building a personal prayer life, and creating spaces where they feel truly loved and seen.
Passions and Interests:
I cherish spending time with family and friends, whether it’s embarking on spontaneous trips, relaxing with a good movie, or simply enjoying each other’s company. I’m passionate about baking, photography, pickleball, and hiking. Exploring new coffee shops is a favorite pastime of mine, especially when it’s paired with meaningful conversations that truly warm my heart. If you’re someone who loves spontaneous adventures and chasing sunsets, I’d be thrilled to connect with you!
How did you become involved with Ablaze/why are you involved?
During my years of involvement with my parish youth ministry, I often dreamed of finding a way to serve youth alongside others who shared my passion. When my youth minister introduced me to Ablaze, I realized it could be the path to making that vision a reality. The youth in our world are deeply hungry for the Lord, and it is both an honor and a joy to work alongside fellow missionaries to serve and guide them on their faith journey.
Favorite Quotes/Bible Verses:
Romans 8:18
“I consider that our present sufferings are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be reveled to us.”
John 15: 1-8
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
