Favorite Bible Verse: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” -Matthew 28:19-20
Favorite Quote:
“Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.”
-Langston Hughes
What does Ablaze’s mission mean to you? Letting Christ work through us to bring transformation to people’s lives and the Church is a privilege and blessing that I truly cannot completely express. The youth we serve are not just the future of the Church, but are the Church now. Serving them & helping them grow gives me hope and reminds me each day of God’s power and love.
What’s one piece of advice you would give your 15-year-old self? Embrace the mess of life & give yourself grace.
