How did you become involved with Ablaze? I’m a parishioner at St. Joe’s in Bryan and heard about the impact Ablaze was having in the Bryan-College Station area. I was poured into during my own youth ministry journey, and as the father of two young boys, I want to support the ministers who will help form my own children.
What does Ablaze’s mission mean to you? Ablaze knows the Church is meant to evangelize, which involves reaching out to kids rather than waiting for them to come to our doorstep. This is transforming youth ministry for kids, parishes, and ministers who traditionally wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet and know God intimately. This is forming the future saints of the Church.
What is one piece of advice you would give your 15-year-old self? Never stop asking questions.
