Ministry at Ablaze: Social Media Coordinator
Ministry Background: My love for ministry began in highschool, when I had the opportunity to work on a retreat planning team and began volunteering with middle school ministry. Since then I took just about every opportunity I could to build up youth and share what I knew and loved about the faith. In college, I got involved in Aggie Awakening leadership and met my husband. Taking on a great deal of responsibility to plan Awakening taught me that I was given logistical and leadership skills I could use in a ministry setting, and serve in a different way from a small group leader.
Passions and interests: I love baking for others and searching for my next read in bookshops and libraries. I really treasure getting to know someone deeper through good conversation; over a cup of coffee of course. Some of my happiest moments are when I am exploring the outdoors and being wild with my fearless and goofy toddler, Benedict.
How did you become involved with Ablaze/why are you involved? I began volunteering with Ablaze as a freshman in college and later served at St. Anthony’s as a small group leader at which my future husband, Dylan, was the youth minister. Ablaze has been a part of our lives and our family since we started dating, and I am excited to join in the mission of forming disciples.
