Ministry at Ablaze: Middle School at St. Anthony’s in Bryan
Education: Texas A&M University Class of 2019
Ministry background: When I was in 8th grade, I didn’t want much to do with my faith. I didn’t have a daily prayer life, and I definitely did not imagine I would ever lead in any ministry capacity. My parents, however, sent me on a retreat, and my life changed forever. I helped serve on multiple retreats in high school after that first experience, and quickly grew in love for the Church and for the Lord.
In 2011, I started learning how to play guitar, and began playing with our church’s youth band. Our worship leader mentored me throughout high school and I absolutely fell in love with praise and worship. When I graduated high school, I decided I wanted to work in ministry, and Ablaze found it’s way into my life. I joined at the end of my freshman year of college, and have enjoyed every triumph and failure along the way. I have learned so much, and I am excited to see her grow.
Currently, I work at a parish in downtown Bryan, TX and absolutely love it. My 7th and 8th graders truly desire to learn more about the Faith and grow in their love for Christ. I have also begun leading worship around the country, and primarily in Dallas, TX. I hope to continue leading worship and make it my full-time job sometime in the future.
I am so thankful for this journey the Lord has brought me on, and I cannot wait to see where He takes me next!
Passions and interests: Playing guitar and piano, singing, leading worship, watching crime shows, reading St. Thomas Aquinas, camping, road trips, and talking to my family
Why I’m at Ablaze: There is no other reason besides the undeniable fact that the Lord brought me here. Through Ablaze, I have learned so much about youth ministry, navigating difficult situations, leading worship, daily prayer, and countless other things. I have enjoyed being a missionary for these many years, and I am passionate about the mission of Ablaze. I am here to spread a zeal for souls to all Christians, and in a special way, the youth.

Bartimaeus Receives His Sight
Do not be afraid of sudden terror, nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes. For the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught.
People are made for happiness. Rightly, then, you thirst for happiness. Christ has the answer to this desire of yours. But He asks you to trust Him.
-St. John Paul II
“Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
