Role at Ablaze: Missionary Team Lead
Contact: sarah@ablaze.us
Education: I graduated from Texas A&M University in May 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences with an emphasis in Youth Development.
Ministry Background: Currently, I work as the Missionary team lead for St. Joseph’s in Bryan. I love being the youth minister for these youth. It has shown me that walking with our young people in their relationship with Christ is important. It’s been incredible watching our youth open their hearts more and more to worship — praising Him with outstretched arms. Our youth bring our world closer to Him.
Passions and interests: I like being outdoors, and I am a huge fan of camping, hammocking, and mountains. I also like artsy things, Spotify, coffee dates with friends, Disney, traveling, planning themed parties, and growing in my relationship with Jesus and Mary.
How did you become involved with Ablaze/why are you involved? Several of my friends are Ablaze missionaries, and, over the past couple of years, I’ve seen how much joy serving the Lord through Ablaze brings them. One day, a good friend of mine (who has no relation to Ablaze) told me, “I think the Lord wants you to be an Ablaze missionary.” So, I opened my heart and, to my surprise and excitement, the Lord immediately led me here.

“On the day I come home, I look at You and Your throne. Every joy I’ve seen is waste, when I touch Your gorgeous face. I’m a creature for Your love.”
